About Us
Cora Blue Fund is a US-registered nonprofit organization with its heart and work deeply rooted in Kenya. Born from a personal commitment to uplift underserved communities, especially girls of the Maasai tribe, the organization was founded officially in 2016—though its roots trace back to 2005, when the Preston family from Tennessee first funded and built a girls' dormitory at Olopikidong’oe Boarding School in Lolgorian, Narok County.
From that first step, our journey has grown into a powerful movement of compassion, resilience, and sustainable development.
Led by Janyne and Abigail “Cora” Preston, Cora Blue Fund has evolved into a multi-dimensional initiative working hand-in-hand with local communities across the Maasai Mara region. Our mission has expanded to address a wide range of critical needs:

-
Empowering girls through access to quality education
-
Constructing safe and modern dormitories
-
Building technical and vocational colleges for youth
-
Improving access to clean water and sanitation
-
Supporting health care and safety in mining communities
We believe that education, dignity, and opportunity are the most powerful tools for change. With only 5% of Maasai girls advancing to secondary school, we are determined to break this cycle and create a future where every child—regardless of gender—can thrive.
What makes Cora Blue Fund truly unique is our ground-level presence and our transparent, trust-driven approach. Through partnerships with trusted organizations such as JPH Investments and a growing global network, we ensure that every donation is impactful, and every project is accountable. We deliver sustainable, community-led solutions that create long-term change.
Today, we continue to walk this path—with humility, with purpose, and with our hearts open to the voices of those we serve.
